Youth Ministry Events…

October 6th is our very first  high school youth ministry programmed evening. We welcome all high schoolers to attend. We are going to begin by having a evening in one cluster one week then the next week the other cluster. This first evening ,"Wacky Wing Nite" is going to be held in Kinkora hall Oct 6 beginning at 7:15 pm-9:00 pm. The next week in Brussels St Ambrose hall, Oct 13, 7:15 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., same program. All youth can attend both nights if they choose. There will be a small cost of $2 to help off set the cost. This promises to be a very exciting and fun evening. Please encourage your children to attend. A reminder that Thanksgiving Sunday 9:00 a.m. Mass in Dublin we will be having a youth lead Mass. All ages are invited and we plan on a small presentation in the hall with refreshments afterwards. Any young adult that would like tickets to Theology of the Body weekend in Toronto please leave a message at the office for Karen. Note: Our first programmed high school evening is in Kinkora because Frank De Wetering so graciously offered to help cook the wings for both clusters. Frank has run many wings nights for the K of C and has all the equipment that is needed in Kinkora hall kitchen. He also is able to get chicken/oil and sauces at much lower costs. If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to call me at the office 519-345-2972 ext 26.

Karen Doyle is presently employed by St. James, Seaforth; St. Patrick’s, Dublin; St. Joseph’s, Listowel; Sacred Heart, Wingham and St. Ambrose, Brussels as a youth minister. She is currently working with many young people from the area.
