Sanctuary Lamps…

Parishioners are invited to donate the candles burning before the tabernacle in St. Vincent de Paul for special intentions or deceased loved ones. The candles burns for seven days and the suggested offering is $5.00. It will be published if requested in the bulletin. Please call the office to arrange it.

 

Attention - Altar Servers 

The trip to “Laser Quest” in London on Saturday, November 21st has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled next spring.

This is The Week…

St. Patrick’s School (Kinkora) Annual Turkey Bingo is FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20th at 8:00 p.m. in the School Gym (7:30 p.m.). Cost is $3.00 and includes one bingo card. St. Patrick’s CWL…

St. Patrick’s, Kinkora Catholic Women’s League will be holding their Membership Drive beginning Sunday, November 15th. Ladies may pay their $20 membership at the back of the church or by using their offertory envelope. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to “St. Patrick’s Kinkora CWL”

First Penance…

First Penance for grade 2 students in Kinkora will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church on Thursday, November 26th at 7:00 p.m.

First Penance for grade 2 students in Mitchell and Dublin  will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Wednesday, Nov. 25th at 7:00 p.m.

There will be a BRUNCH following the 10:00 a.m. Mass in Kinkora on Sunday, Nov. 29th. Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Everyone welcome.

House Building in Cambodia…

Rianne Rops will be traveling to Cambodia to build houses for those who cannot afford one, with the “Tabitha Experience.” She is required to raise $1,000.00 (the cost of building one home). Any donations toward this cause would be greatly appreciated. Please make cheques out to “Tabitha” - Charitable receipts are available.

Youth Ministry News…

November 20th we are doing a retreat for St. Columban grade 7 and 8's. Nov. 22nd is this ministry’s third youth lead Mass in Listowel at 11:00 a.m. Please keep in mind this is a ministry Mass not just for one parish. All are invited and all parishes participate. I will be at St. Anne’s every Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. until Christmas break. Look forward to meeting more high schooler’s there. Dec. 2nd we will have another high school evening. Stay tuned for further information. Karen Doyle is presently employed by St. James, Seaforth; St. Patrick’s, Dublin; St. Joseph’s, Listowel; Sacred Heart, Wingham and St. Ambrose, Brussels as a youth minister. She is currently working with many young people from the area.

Medjugorje for Youth…

Medjugorje for Youth  Information Session for the upcoming pilgrimage March 12-22, 2010. Sunday, Nov. 29th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Parish Hall downstairs, Stratford.
