Prayers & Sympathy… Our prayers and sympathy are extended to the family of Ted Wolfe who passed away recently. He was the father of Doug & Sharon Wolfe. Our prayers are with you at this time of loss.
Thank You… Everyone in this parish deserves a big “Thank You.” Together with the other parishes in southwestern Ontario, we have raised just over one million dollars for the victim’s of the Haitian earthquake, a figure that has never been reached before. St. Patrick’s CWL News Please join us for our next Soup 'n Chili Luncheon which will be held on Sunday, March 7th following the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Tickets will be available that day for our upcoming Draw for a beautiful Lap quilt and Table-runners: $2 each or three tickets for $5. The winning tickets will be drawn at our Ladies Banquet on April 25th.
St. Vincent de Paul CWL… The next CWL meeting will be on Tuesday, March 9th at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Dates for upcoming meetings are: April 13th, May 11th, Sept. 14th and October 12th at 7:30 p.m. All women are invited to join the CWL for social interaction, personal development, and community service. Please pray for continuing leadership, as the position of President, First Vice and Second Vice are open. The London Diocesan Convention is from April 19th to 21st, if interested in going, call Brenda Biggelaar or Mary Sanders.
Open House… All are welcome to celebrate Terry Miller’s 60th Birthday and Retirement Party in an Open House on Sunday March 14th at the Kinkora Community Hall from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Youth Ministry News… This past Tuesday, March 2nd we had an evangelization team meeting. The theme was letting go. I want to thank the young people who helped me prepare for this evening. It was a great time of spiritual renewal preparing us for the upcoming Confirmation retreat. Any high school or young adults still interested in being involved are more than welcome. Leave a message at my office 519-345-2972 ext 26. I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please remember to get your forms in for Steubenville soon. I have already received forms and will open this trip up to the deanery after March 31st. Students from St Anne’s can leave their forms at Lisa Phillips’ office if that is easier. Karen Doyle - CYM Karen is presently employed by St. James, Seaforth; St. Patrick’s, Dublin; St. Joseph’s, Listowel; Sacred Heart, Wingham and St. Ambrose, Brussels as a youth minister. She is currently working with many young people from the area.
Fundraiser For Youth… A MUSIC CONCERT will be held at St. James Church on Sunday, March 28th (Passion Sunday) at 2:00 p.m. Participants: London Catholic Secondary School Chamber Choir under the direction of Don Sills, along with the Beard family and Hannah Johnston. Cost: Donation at the door. This is a fundraiser for the High School Youth Conference in Steubenville, Ohio in July.
FAST + PRAY + SHARE + FAST + Soccer Registration… The Kinkora Athletic Association Soccer registration is on Monday, March 8th at Kinkora Community Centre from 7:00-9:00 p.m. New rule this year: After March 8th until March 30th you can register for twice the price. We Need Your Support… The West Perth Branch Cancer Society is selling daffodils on March 25th & 26th in Mitchell at the bank, post office and ValuMart. Please support and pray for cancer victims.
