Youth Ministry...

The lay ecclesial minister study days was cancelled due to the storm in Leamington Sunday morning. Oxley had no power and many trees were down. They are in the process of rescheduling.  I have been busy finalizing things for Steubenville as well as putting together something special for all high school and young adults August 7th. Keep that date open, I think it’s going to be a great time!  A reminder that June 20th is the youth lead Mass in Dublin at 11:00 a.m. July 5th there is a youth evening in Dublin at 7:00 p.m. I would like the youth that are going to Steubenville to attend. There is a bit more paperwork. Those that aren’t coming to Steubenville are very welcome to attend as well. Karen Doyle - CYM

An Act of Spiritual Communion

“My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things; and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.”

Become a Friend of the Pope…

Pope Benedict XVI has acknowledged the value of social networking with his May 2009 release of the Vatican Facebook application and Web site Pope2You.net at the 43rd World Communications Day. The goal was to promote the pope’s message, “New Technologies, New Relationships: Promoting a Culture of Respect, Dialogue and Friendship” to millions of people, especially youth, by using technology they use.
