Second Sunday of Lent

February 28, 2010

Lenten Confessions…

On Wednesday, March 3rd confessions will be available from 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church.

First Thursdays…

Remember: March 4, 2010 is the FIRST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH. The Holy Father extends to all the faithful during the special year of the Priest a plenary indulgence for all who perform a special prayer or good work for priestly holiness and priestly vocations (under the usual conditions).

In Appreciation…

A giant thank you to… the Kinkora CWL; the Mitchell CWL; the Mitchell/Logan Knights of Columbus and many parishioners from Kinkora and Mitchell who contributed generously to restore/renovate a room for Fr. W. Gutowski. I am sure he will be most appreciative for your kind support.

Thanks to the very generous donation from the Kinkora Community Hall committee. We can renovate/restore part of the upstairs of the rectory in Kinkora. Thanks for all your help. The rectory is one of the grandest homes in Perth County from the last century. I hope to keep in great repair for the next generation.
Fr. Paul Nicholson.
