Fourth Sunday of Easter April 25, 2010
2010 Annual Parish Appeal… Once every year, St. Peter’s Seminary makes an appeal to the parishioners of the Diocese of London. It was parishioners who made the Seminary a reality in 1912, and since then generations of parishioners have supported the Seminary through prayer and financial donations. This year more than ever, the Seminary needs us to hear the call for assistance. This year’s Annual Parish Appeal takes place this weekend, to coincide with the World Day of Prayer for Vocations on April 25. You will fond an Appeal brochure and donation envelope in the parish bulletin. Please open your heart to its messages and give as generously as you can. Whether or not you can give financially, we encourage you to pray for vocations. A prayer is included in the brochure to help you.

St. Anne’s News... Hi! I’m Cassidy Bedard, and I go to St. Peter’s Parish in Goderich and I’m Scott Regier, attendee of St. Boniface Parish in Zurich. Together we are the Minister’s of Faith on Student Cabinet at St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School. We will be writing weekly updates in the church bulletins to further connect our parishes with the school. This upcoming week there are lots of good things going on at St. Anne’s! Tuesday is a very exciting day - we have a special surprise guest from “Free the Children” coming to our school to receive a cheque for $37,000.00 to build a girl’s high school in Kenya. On Wednesday the 28th, we have our annual road hockey tournament. And finally, on Friday we’re having a Barefoot Walk. This is to raise awareness for the millions of children in developing countries without shoes. Have a safe and blessed week!
An Act of Spiritual Communion “My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things; and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.”
